Key Responsibilities
- Delivering high quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity, such as architecturally designed houses, estate development of units/townhouses, and associated facilities such as community centres, gymnasiums etc, with potential opportunities to be involved in multi-level building structures and light commercial buildings.
- Running projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frame, with supports from experienced and cooperative BE teams.
- Assist in client management with existing clients and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Supporting account management activities, including maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout project delivery.
- Assist in developing graduate/junior engineers within team in alignment with company goals, procedures and strategy.
- Cultivating a sense of client focus in your team's everyday approach to their work, in particular with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism. Requirements
- A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
- 1-3 years post-grad structural design experience in residential or building industry.
- Experience in the design of residential/low rise structural buildings.
- Experience in design using timber structures, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and designs of waffle, raft, suspended slab, retaining walls etc.
- Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
- An ability to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders.
- Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes, design in accordance with AS****, AS****, AS****, AS****, AS****, NCC etc. Benefits
