Due to continued growth, ProMech is seeking a Lead Civil Structural Engineer to play a key role in both technical delivery and team development. About the Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of both civil and structural design delivery while contributing to team leadership and business development initiatives. This role offers a balanced mix of hands‑on technical design and leadership, with exposure across a variety of brownfield projects throughout the Oil & Gas and Water sectors. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver civil and structural design across a range of projects
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation
- Deliver practical, buildable solutions across civil (site layouts, earthworks, drainage) and structural (steel and concrete) design
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, with a focus on developing their skills and supporting team growth
- Working with Leadership to support proposal development and the assist in winning recent work
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards About You
- Must have a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- CPEng is required with RPEQ preferred or willingness to obtain
- Extensive experience within an engineering consultancy environment
- Proven design capability across both civil and structural discipline across brownfield environments within the Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas (CSG), or Petrochemical/Chemical industries
- Background in earthworks, drainage, concrete and steel project designs are essential
- Proficient in Tedds and Spacegass
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
- Ability to balance detailed design work with leadership and client engagement
- Commercial awareness with exposure to identifying and developing opportunities
