Production Supervisor - Steel Manufacturing (Queensland)

Production Supervisor – PM Shift Brisbane, QLD Monday to Friday | Afternoon Shift About the Role This is a hands‑on leadership position suited to someone with a strong manufacturing or steel processing background who can drive productivity, safety, quality and team performance across daily operations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing workshop activities, coordinating workflow, managing staff performance and ensuring production targets are achieved efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead afternoon shift production teams
- Drive safety, productivity and quality outcomes
- Coordinate workflow and production scheduling
- Monitor machine utilisation and labour performance
- Support and mentor workshop staff
- Liaise with operations and management teams
- Ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Promote a strong team culture and positive leadership environment About You
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Background in steel processing, fabrication, manufacturing or heavy industry
- Trade qualification or engineering background preferred
- Experience with metal cutting operations, CNC – highly regarded
- Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced production environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
