About The Opportunity This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to start your career in Purchasing, building robust foundations for future progression across the business. The purpose of this role is to support the purchasing team by ensuring goods and services meet quality, cost and delivery requirements, while learning supplier management and core procurement processes. You’ll be mentored by a friendly and experienced team and gain exposure to multiple business functions beyond purchasing. Working alongside senior team members, you’ll develop practical skills while supporting production and customer outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Help manage stock and inventory for key materials
- Track and update supplier delivery times and delays
- Support the team with material supply issues to keep production running
- Assist with reviewing material allocations for production
- Update and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Check material supply levels to ensure accuracy
- Help manage spare parts kits across the business
- Confirm and track supplier orders to ensure correct delivery About You We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn. You’ll bring a positive attitude, be open to feedback, and enjoy working as part of a team. To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Previous customer service and/or administration experience
- Valuable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to follow instructions and manage your time effectively
- A dependable and punctual approach to work
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Purchasing experience is helpful, but not required – full training will be provided What's On Offer
