Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Join our OSHC team at Helping Hands Meridan and help create exciting, engaging, and unforgettable experiences for primary school children. In our OSHC programs, kids are busy building rockets, scoring goals, creating masterpieces, and making new friends. As an OSHC Educator you get the opportunity to be involved. Pick up shifts across the services open hours: Morning Shift: 6:00am – 9:00am Monday
- Friday (Rise then Shine Program) Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 6:00pm Monday
- Friday (Stay and Play Program) Whether you're a qualified Educator, a student, or someone with a passion for kids, we have flexible casual roles that fit YOUR lifestyle. Qualifications While we're happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we're looking for: Desirable but not mandatory: a relevant qualification in children's services, or active progress toward completion (as per ACECQA guidelines). National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko). A genuine love for working with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities. Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check. Must have valid Australian work rights. Next steps? We do things a bit differently here at JAG.
