Marine Upholsterer/Trimmer – 2 Positions Available About Us Craft Coverings (Qld) Pty Ltd is a Gold Coast Queensland-based specialist in Premium marine upholstery and trimming. We work with boat manufacturers and boat owners and marine service providers across Queensland, Australia and Internationally, delivering quality craftsmanship on everything from cockpit covers and biminis to full interior and exterior upholstery. We are looking for enthusiastic people willing to learn and share ideas to further improve our product. We are offering permanent full‑time positions, within a positive working environment. The Roles Your team and yourself will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and installation of marine coverings and upholstery products across a diverse range of vessel types. No two days are the same. Your Responsibilities
- Fabricate, cut, and install marine covers, biminis, enclosures, cockpit covers and related products
- Carry out upholstery work including re‑trimming, foam replacement, vinyl and leather finishing
- Read and interpret patterns and templates, and create new patterns from scratch where required
- Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised workshop environment About You
- Proven experience as a marine trimmer, marine upholsterer
- Ability to pattern make, cut accurately and produce clean, professional seams on curved and complex shapes
- A solid eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Automotive or furniture upholstery backgrounds with a willingness to transition to marine work will also be considered
- Valid Australian work rights and authorisation to work in Australia What We Offer
