Assembly and Dispatch Assistant Job Type: Permanent – Part Time Location: Gold Coast Hours: 32 hours per week (Mon‑Fri, 7:00am–6:00pm) Responsibilities
- Assemble name badges, awards, trophies and neoprene products.
- Pack, assemble and ship orders on time and accurately.
- Prepare invoicing and dispatch documentation.
- Provide guidance to peers and manage workflow and workload, including some coaching and supervision.
- Prioritise activities based on deadlines and due dates.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards.
- Assist other departments as needed, based on skills and experience.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and quality control. Qualifications
- Consistent attention to detail and accuracy in assembly and dispatch.
- Proficiency with ordering and dispatch software.
- Proficiency with managing e‑mail requests and clear communication.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Organised and deadline‑focused.
- Previous experience in assembly, packing, or dispatch roles is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and production processes.
- Flexibility to work full‑time hours ranging between 7:00am and 6:00pm on a Monday to Friday roster. Advantages
