Distribution Centre Manager (Chelsea)

The Role

Our Chelsea site produces 100 million litres of product every year
- processing, packing, and delivering 24 hours a day, six days a week. Attached to the manufacturing site, the distribution centre (cool room) is a hive of activity, buzzing with highly knowledgeable team members ensuring the timely delivery of our much-loved Aussie made product.

Bega Group is seeking an experienced leader who has a passion for people combined with the commercial acumen to deliver productivity. You will champion our continued journey towards an interdependent safety culture, proudly leading the team by encouraging collaboration to deliver operational excellence.

The Distribution Centre Manager will have a strong focus on building capability and empowering others. Your ability to build and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external customers will be critical in the success of this role.

As this is vital role within the team at Chelsea, we are seeking an experienced people coach that has proven experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities- Uphold and lead safety standards and protocols, continue to develop safety culture- Develop and coach team. You will provide leadership to approx. 50 direct and indirect reports- Deliver service, quality and cost metrics- Ensure network excellence through collaboration with national teams-
- Collaborate with wider team to ensure strong partnerships with key stake holders including manufacturing, sales and wider logistics/transport team

About you- Passionate people leader with a focus on safety- Strong stakeholder management & relationship skills- Excellent communicator- P&L; Ownership and reporting- Experience in logistics and distribution environments- A passion to empowers others to empower and inspire others to achieve high standards and goals
