Cleaner (Cheltenham)

Inclusive Community Care is a local disability support provider, supporting people with disability to live safely and independently. We are seeking caring and reliable cleaners to provide essential cleaning services in our participants’ homes. We work with NDIS participants and DVA participants

**About the Role**: As a Home Cleaner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our clients. You’ll be working in private homes, helping participants maintain their independence by assisting with household cleaning tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- General cleaning of client homes (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping surfaces).
- Bathroom and kitchen cleaning.
- Laundry and basic household tasks.
- Safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
- Respecting the privacy, dignity, and personal space of clients.

**Requirements**:

- Current Police Check.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
- _"Quality, Safety and You"_
- Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certificate
- Physically capable of performing support tasks
- Supporting People to Stay Infection Free certificate (or willingness to obtain)

**We’re Looking For Someone Who**:

- Previous cleaning or home support experience (preferred but not required).
- Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful in clients’ homes.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time well.
- Friendly and professional manner with clients.
- Can communicate effectively and respectfully with people from all walks of life
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as we provide supports to clients all over the Melbourne south east regions
