- Location: Waves Leisure Centre About The Team Our Health & Wellbeing team delivers safe, inclusive and high-quality fitness experiences across our leisure centre and community spaces. We work together to create welcoming environments where participants feel supported, motivated, and confident to stay active About The Role We are seeking casual Group Fitness Instructors to plan and deliver engaging group fitness classes that support positive participant experiences and customer satisfaction. The role is currently based at Waves Leisure Centre , with opportunities to work at the new Mordi Aquatic Centre once it opens, as well as at community centres and hubs across the Kingston municipality. Classes may be delivered indoors or outdoors. We Are Particularly Seeking Instructors Qualified And Experienced In
- Reformer Pilates
- Aqua
- Les Mills Body Attack
- Les Mills Body Combat What You’ll Deliver
- Safe, engaging group fitness classes that meet participant needs
- Accurate and authentic delivery of Les Mills choreography (where applicable)
- Well-prepared, protected class environments
- Clear instruction, supervision, and equipment guidance
- Positive, professional responses to customer enquiries
- Promotion of centre programs and services
- Consistent teamwork and support within the Health & Wellbeing team
- Compliance with all health, safety, and organisational requirements Your Skills And Experience
- Experience delivering group fitness classes
- Relevant program-specific qualifications (e.g. Les Mills, Reformer Pilates, Aqua)
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR Certificate
- Certificate 3 in Fitness (desirable)
- Professional Industry Registration (desirable)
