Threaheads was founded in 2018 from an ex-massage parlour with a dusty old T-shirt printer and questionable design skills.

In 2020, COVID hit and the business exploded. Right place, right time. They had hit after hit, with a now semi-famous Democracy Manifest tee, a Daniel Andrews-inspired Get on the Beers tee, an appearance on live television, and a shift out of the shop to a proper warehouse down the road.

Since those dark early days, they've grown revenue from $50k to $20m. The team of 3 has become almost 30. Now, the mission at Threadheads is a bit bolder: to create the funnest shopping experience on the planet. Whether making your own shirt, laughing at outrageously offbeat accessories, or ogling your new favourite luxe hoodie, Threadheads is a high-energy, low-friction good time.

The Threadheads brand is at an unusual intersection of fashion and humour. Its designs are fun, unique, and irreverent, while its clothing styles are heavily influenced by on-trend streetwear. ***Role**

We’re on the hunt for a Social Media Manager who can turn Instagram into a masterpiece of Reels, Stories, and posts that our audience can’t stop double-tapping. You’ll juggle creativity, strategy, and the occasional existential crisis about why the algorithm hates us this week.

We need a creative that specialises in social, loves meme culture, and wants to get their hands filthy in a rapidly growing business.

The role can be 4 or 5 days a week, with 3 days on-site at our HQ in Cheltenham.

**Responsibilities**
- Creating and evolving our social media content strategy over time. Use insights to drive recommendations and creativity to experiment with recent ideas.
- Develop and manage the organic content calendar for Instagram
- Align organic output with our campaign schedule (planned fortnightly)
- Create engaging Reels, images, and Stories tailored to our audience
- Shoot videos on your phone and edit using CapCut
- Write compelling captions for posts and stories
- Focus on Instagram (Threadheads and Threadheads Custom), with additional content efforts on Facebook and TikTok
- Collaborate with Creator and Paid Social teams to identify content opportunities. What works, what doesn't, and what are we missing
- Work closely with in-house creators and external production agencies on content briefs.
- Drive growth in account reach and engagement metrics (comments, shares, etc.)
- Engage with our community on organic posts alongside the community management team.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in CapCut with strong video editing skills.
- Creative background in design, copywriting, or art direction
- Proven track record of growing and managing social media accounts
- Collaborative mindset with a bubbly, positive personality
- Comfortable being on camera alongside team members
- Knack for making funny and engaging content
- Very clear and effective communicator

**The first 12 months**

0-6 months:

- Initial analysis of account and development of a content strategy with the marketing team
- Baseline content delivery
- 3x Reels scheduled per week
- 2x Statics scheduled per week
- Stories planned and executed/scheduled 6 days per week
- Collabing with paid and influencer teams on content opportunities- Identifying what content is getting the best shares/comments/reach and why
- Adjusting content strategy to optimise engagement and build audience 6-12 months:

- Driving brand growth through best-in-class organic social media content
- Able to bring that fun Threadheads vibe consistently to socials
- Measurable increase in organic reach of our social media channels
- At least 3 viral videos on IG (200k+ reach)
