Language Teacher - Primary (Cheltenham)

**Role Description/Criteria**

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the part time (0.4 FTE) fixed term position of **Language Teacher** to commence on 28 January 2025, concluding on 26 January 2026. This is a position under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. They will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team based approach to learning and teaching.

**Selection Criteria**

We require a teacher with the ability to:

- create a safe classroom environment that encourages the full flourishing of each child
- embrace the Catholic ethos of our school
- demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- know the Victorian Curriculum and have experience in teaching Languages or Auslan is preferred
- celebrate all cultures and languages
- deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities
- partner with families to provide care and support for students
- foster and value student voice to engage children in their learning
- use digital technologies to enhance innovative and contemporary learning and teaching.

The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.
