SEO & eCommerce Specialist (Cheltenham)

Fat Shack Vintage is an Australian family owned, leading online retailer of lighting based in Cheltenham, Victoria. We are a well-established eCommerce business that designs and manufactures on-trend, quality, vintage styled lighting available for delivery Australia wide. We are on the search for someone with solid experience in SEO that can take a data-driven approach to increase organic visibility and traffic on our website. Working alongside the Marketing Director, you'll take end to end ownership of SEO initiatives, managing everything from strategy and technical optimisation to implementation and performance analysis. This job it to improve how we do SEO across the board. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday. We can also consider a part time arrangement for the right candidate. The role is required to be performed in the office with no option for work at home arrangements. Attractive salary on offer in line with your level of experience. The Role:
- Run audits and turn findings into clear priorities, roadmaps, and actions.
- Research keywords, competitors, and trends to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Use AI to optimise SEO processes and strategies
- Craft content strategies that align with SEO best practices.
- Conduct strong on-page strategies.
- Conduct off-site optimisation strategies and link analysis.
- Develop content-led strategies to build site authority.
- Present insights and results to show the “why” behind every move.
- Execute strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Undertake project tasks or other ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed. The Person:
- 1-2 years of SEO experience in e-Commerce.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills.
