Are you a passionate and dedicated Psychologist looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our dynamic and supportive team at our Chermside Health Hub clinic, where we are committed to providing high-quality, client-centred care to individuals across the lifespan.
We are seeking a fully registered Psychologist with experience in delivering psychological assessment and therapeutic services, including to NDIS and WorkCover clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in neurodivergent presentations and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
About the Role
As a Psychologist at our Chermside clinic, you will:
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, autism (ASD), and ADHD evaluations.
• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions for clients of all ages, addressing a wide range of mental health and developmental needs.
• Deliver high-quality services to NDIS participants (self-managed, plan-managed and NDIA managed) and WorkCover clients.
• Create individualised treatment plans and provide counselling using evidence-based approaches.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, client-centred care.
• Prepare professional, timely reports for NDIS reviews, WorkCover cases, and assessment outcomes.
• Offer services via telehealth where appropriate to ensure accessibility.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and comply with all ethical, clinical, and organisational standards.
• Stay current with research and best practice through ongoing professional development.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Registrations:
• Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) or equivalent
• Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Current professional indemnity insurance
• Valid Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
Preferred Experience and Skills:
• Experience conducting ASD and ADHD assessments (e.g. MIGDAS, cognitive assessments) desirable
• Previous work with NDIS participants and/or WorkCover clients desirable
• High level of written communication skills, particularly in report writing
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• A strong commitment to client-centred and evidence-based care
Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Supporting marketing initiatives including newsletters, social media, and outreach materials
• Participating in community events and promotional activities within standard work hours
• Contributing to online platforms through articles and resource development
• Complying with all organisational policies, procedures, and billing guidelines (MBS, DVA, NDIS, and WorkCover)
