Mt Maria College, North Brisbane’s first Catholic Co-Educational College, was established in 1978. We are seeking a **Maintenance/Grounds Officer** with a genuine passion for their work to deliver a range of services for the upkeep, maintenance and development our school grounds.

Duties include:

- Minor landscaping work
- Maintaining clean and tidy school grounds
- Routine trade and non-trade maintenance and repairs
- Providing feedback into planning, preparing and development of school grounds
- Liaising with onsite contractors
- Inventory management for grounds supplies and materials
- Support school security systems
- Liaise with various internal and external personnel on issues of lost property and damage to facilities
- Assist with setting up significant school events
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

You will have previous experience in a groundskeeping role, ideally in a school environment and display strong customer service skills.

You will also have a valuable work ethic and seek to achieve quality work whilst maintaining the highest level of safety.
