Picture Framer Shop Assistant (Chermside)

Job Description: We are seeking a Picture Framer to join our team at Fantastic Framing. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, ensuring that each framing project meets our high standards of quality and aesthetics. Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their framing needs and preferences
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate framing materials, styles, and finishes
- Measure and cut mats and frame components accurately and precisely
- Assemble frames using various tools and techniques
- Mount artwork securely within frames, ensuring proper alignment and presentation
- Inspect finished projects for quality control and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the framing process Requirements:
- Driver's License

- Previous experience in picture framing or related field

- Proficiency with framing tools and equipment, including mat cutters, saws, and joiners
