Marketing Manager (Research) (Darlington)

**Full time opportunity, fixed term until 08 July 2026**
- **Lead the Research Marketing team to showcase the University of Sydney’s incredible research impact and enhance global reputation**
- **Base Salary**$156,277**plus 17% superannuation**

**About the prospect**

The **Marketing Manager (Research)**is responsible for the development and delivery of marketing and communications strategy, campaigns and projects to support the University’s strategic research objectives and build our global research reputation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

- develop and implement a research marketing and communications strategy to support the University’s Research Portfolio and flagship research centre priorities
- provide strategic advice to Research Portfolio leadership as well as other senior leaders
- lead the effective implementation of research marketing activities across multiple channels to engage external research audiences and inspire action
- lead the marketing stream of the University’s rankings strategy
- manage the work, budget, and performance of the Research Marketing team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

**About you**
- demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
- high level oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- strong campaign and digital marketing skills with a track-record of successful multi-channel campaign outcomes
- well-developed project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities
- understanding of the higher education sector in Australia, with a particular focus on the research agenda.
