Security Supervisor (Wanneroo)

The Role Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage one of our busy Commercial and Retail sites in Clarkson, WA. The role requires an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in site security, building management systems and fire control systems, and the application of standard operating procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and grow your career in the Security Industry. Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
- Oversee the site-based control room and CCTV system
- Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
- Assess and mitigate risks on site
- Respond to calls for assistance and alarm events
- Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
- Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on duty
- Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
- Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on duty
- Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
- Input data on site/client systems as required by site SOPs
- Recruit and train new employees Key Selection Criteria
- Valid Security Licence is a must
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required
- Security supervisory or management experience preferred
- Previous experience in a retail environment highly regarded
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Solid attention to detail
- Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site
