Position Permanent full‑time position commencing Term 3, 2026. Alkimos College invites applications for an innovative, state‑of‑the‑art secondary college committed to high performance and high care for students and staff. The Role Alkimos College seeks a dedicated, highly competent, and enthusiastic Design and Technology (Woodwork/Metalwork) teacher with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will promote and foster student engagement and academic achievement in a supportive environment where success is celebrated. The successful applicant will deliver an engaging and relevant Design Technologies curriculum from the early and middle adolescent phases through to senior secondary courses, as an enthusiastic adopter of the college-wide instructional framework based on explicit teaching and instructional skills, strategies, and tactics. The teacher will commit to personal and professional growth, embrace collaboration, and support the college’s extra‑curricular activities (after‑school Academies). Experience in lower school woodwork, metalwork, and senior school design and technology courses is highly desirable; experience or interest in teaching lower school Digital Technology is also desirable.
