Role We are seeking ethical, dedicated, highly competent and enthusiastic special education teachers with excellent interpersonal skills who are capable of creating high quality, effective teaching and learning experiences for their students. Each class has a team of education assistants that work with the teacher to support the learning needs of the students. Teachers are expected to actively lead and support the staff in their team. This includes coordinating weekly meetings, providing training and undertaking performance development. The desire to invest in developing positive working relationships with students, parents and colleagues is a key focus for all staff at Burbridge School. We are looking for team‑orientated teachers who are passionate about teaching to join the dynamic team of teachers currently at our school. Our staff are expected to demonstrate a preparedness to collaborate with and support other colleagues in the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum. This includes ensuring access to the curriculum for all students, inclusive of their individual needs.
