$116,882 to $123,759 plus Superannuation Permanent Full-time | 76 hours per fortnight | Local Government Level 8 | Salary from $116,882 to $123,759 plus Superannuation Help shape the City's future through diverse and meaningful infrastructure projects About the Position The City's Construction Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join the Infrastructure Capital Works team. This role offers a rewarding chance to lead the delivery of a range of capital works projects that directly contribute to the liveability and growth of our community. Working within the Assets Directorate, which is responsible for building and managing City assets to a high standard, you will play a key role in delivering infrastructure that benefits the community from roads and buildings, to parks and coastal environments. Responsibilities
- Managing projects from design through to handover in accordance with the City's Project Management Framework
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
- Coordinating and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing contracts with consultants and contractors
- Leading multiple capital works projects within a dynamic, fast-paced environment About You You are a results-driven and adaptable professional with a proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects. You thrive under pressure, are comfortable managing competing priorities and are a confident communicator who can build strong stakeholder relationships. Qualifications
- A university degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure project management and contract administration
- Advanced skills in project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting
- Strong computing, analytical, and organisational capabilities
- Knowledge of construction practices, OH&S; measures, and budget/resource management principles
- A collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes Why Join Us?
