The Gastevski Group is a family owned and operated company with several food, beverage and entertainment venues in the emerging northern suburbs and across the metropolitan and peel region. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of operations, we are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to join the group. This role will be based at our venue The Cornerstone Tavern in Butler. FULL TIME POSITION The Role:
- Full responsibility of the day-to-day operation, managing a young team of food and beverage staff leading from the front ‘hands-on’
- You must have strong focus to drive the highest levels of customer service and ensure quality and consistency of operations, product and service.
- This role will include rostering, labour management, recruitment, stock management, product lists, training, entertainment management, concept development and all general tasks associated with the general management of a busy venue.
- You will liaise with the Head Chef and kitchen team to keep our food offer fresh, exciting and of the highest quality.
- Exceptional communications skills and customer liaison will be your forte with a genuine passion for food and beverage service. Your Profile: To be the successful candidate you will:
- Be passionate and driven about food and beverage;
- have at least 5 years experience in a general management position;
- strong attention to detail coupled with natural leadership abilities;
- have exceptional time management, communication and conceptual skills;
- be ready to put in the hard work and the hours and be enthusiastic, motivated and want to work with a like-minded team.
- have ability to work flexiable hours including weekends and nights. Human Skills:
- Neat and clean personal presentation
- Ability to co-ordinate a number of tasks at the same time Qualifications:
- Police Clearance
- Industry License's & accreditation i.e. RSA, Approved Managers Course
- Qualifies to meet the State liquor licensing requirements
