This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026. The School Recognised as a high-quality educational campus and one of the first Independent Public Schools (IPS) in WA, students at Mindarie Senior College (SC) are strongly engaged in all facets of their learning. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Administrator to join our College to manage the College network setting end-to-end, with a strong focus on reliability, cybersecurity and system administration. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the site’s network infrastructure, overseeing risk management including data security, system backups and disaster recovery protocols.
- Contribute to system enhancements by researching and identifying appropriate IT resources.
- Configure and implement hardware, Windows servers, including the creation and management of virtual machines.
- Improve the cyber security footprint of the College network and develop strategies for implementing new and emerging technology.
- Maintain a reliable and secure IT environment, leading management and renewal plans for all IT related infrastructure, assets and resources.
- Provide technical support and training to all users, including Bring Your Own Device (BYOD).
- Advise staff on technical issues associated with the network system and build capacity to use technologies.
- Communicate effectively, show initiative, and work autonomously. Qualifications
- Technical knowledge and skills to manage a range of hardware, software and other information technology resources.
- Working knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with the Departments’ Standard Operating Environment (SOE) is an advantage.
- Strong cybersecurity, system backups, disaster recovery and emerging technology implementation experience.
- Experience facilitating resolution of network administration challenges and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
