The City of Wanneroo is on the lookout for a qualified Painter who knows their way around a brush, roller and spray gun and who takes genuine pride in keeping buildings and community spaces looking their best. From community facilities and council buildings to important public assets, your work will be seen and appreciated across one of Australia’s fastest growing local governments. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual who will be responsible for undertaking general planned and preventative maintenance painting activities. You will carry out planned and preventative painting maintenance across a range of City facilities and assets, delivering high-quality workmanship and helping keep our community spaces protected, functional and looking fresh. No two days are exactly the same and you’ll be part of a supportive crew that values teamwork, reliability and getting the job done properly. These include painting repairs to Council building facilities, fixtures and assets, in accordance with best practice principles and to a high standard of workmanship. A trade certificate in Painting and Decorating is essential. To be successful in this role you’ll have:
- Trade certificate in Painting and Decorating
- White Card
- Working at Heights
- Licence to operate Elevating Work Platform (EWP)
