Buildings and Grounds Manager (Wanneroo)

Full-time | Ongoing | Commences 15 May or by Negotiation Northshore Christian Grammar School (NCGS), a growing K–12 school located in the coastal suburb of Alkimos, is part of the Swan Christian Education Association (SCEA). NCGS provides Christ‑centred, values‑based education that empowers students to become all God created them to be. With over 900 students and a robust reputation for community and staff satisfaction, NCGS is a vibrant learning environment grounded in Christian mission and purpose. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Buildings and Grounds Manager to join our growing team on a full‑time, ongoing position, to start on the 15th of May or at a negotiated time. The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping a growing school’s future, contributing their expertise to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of modern facilities and grounds as we expand toward our 10th anniversary and beyond. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee facilities and maintenance, ensuring all buildings and grounds are safe, compliant, and well‑maintained.
- Maintain and enhance school grounds, ensuring outdoor areas are safe, well presented, and effectively managed.
- Ensure WHS compliance through safety inspections, risk management, and prompt response to hazards and incidents.
- Support the planning and delivery of facilities projects, including coordinating with leadership and monitoring budgets and timelines.
- Provide operational support across the school, including event set‑up, logistics, and management of vehicles and equipment. Qualifications
- Personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and active membership in the Christian community.
- Acceptance of the Association’s Statement of Faith, Foundational Statements of Belief and Educational Objectives and a lifestyle consistent with these statements.
- Proven experience in facilities, property, or maintenance management, with strong practical skills across buildings and grounds.
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements, with the ability to manage contractors and work independently.
- Well‑developed organisational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check and Department of Education Criminal History Clearance. Desirable
- Experience in a school or similar environment.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience in project management.
- HR Drivers Licence and or other vehicles. What We Offer
