The teacher will support the Catholic ethos, provide religious education, and deliver the WA Curriculum with innovative teaching strategies. Selection Criteria / Qualifications
- Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
- Possess a sound knowledge of the Religious Education Units of Work.
- Knowledge of the WA Curriculum and SCSA Judging Standards and ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning.
- Have a repertoire of effective teaching strategies that positively impact student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Demonstrate ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
- Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance the learning culture of the school.
- Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a staff culture that works collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish in promoting a nurturing Catholic school community.
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
