Our Wangara branch has a recent opening for an experienced Electrician to join the ContiTech team. This is a Monday to Friday role with occasional Saturday work and overnight site travel required. - Carrying out general electrical duties for workshop and site equipment
- Maintain compliance with safety efficiency and statutory standards
- Identification of electrical faults
- Carry out general electrical tagging of equipment
- Maintenance of vulcanizers, belt winches, hand tools and general workshop maintenance.
- Shutdowns and belt change outs. ABOUT YOU
- Experienced trade qualified electrician with a minimum of 3 years post trade experience
- Experience working in a mining or heavy industry setting desirable
- Exposure to conveyor belts and conveyor equipment advantageous
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- an absolute commitment to safety and protected work practices.
- High risk license, working at heights and confined spaces tickets required
- valid Drivers License
- HR license is desirable
- ability to fulfill the inherent physical tasks required of this job
