Transport Operations Manager (Clayton)

Lovgistics is a rapid-growing logistics service provider in bulk transport and 3PL, expertise in aluminium windows & doors, and other construction material container destuffing and delivery.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with freight forwarders or customers in Australian and overseas to determine the container loading status and container arrival date arrangement
- Arrange containers that have arrived at the company, assign personnel to unload the containers, and store the goods according to weight, quantity, and shipping time
- Receives orders and bookings, and plans and implements transportation schedules
- Vehicle dispatch, communicate with customers and arrange different vehicles and personnel to deliver or pick up goods as needed
- Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
- Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
- Assigning vehicle repair and maintenance duties
- Monitoring driver qualifications and training
- Inspecting loads and preventing overloading
- Keeping and transmitting complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet, and for cargo transported
- Ensure that the correct documentation is used for all deliveries
- Constant communication with customers to ensure their requirements are met
- Oversee use of casual/agency staff to maintain sufficient staff numbers
- Assisting all Administration and Operations Staff where required.
- Maintains business records, as well as handling complaints
- Ensuring compliance with shipping regulations
- Other tasks as required

**Qualification**: Diploma or above, may be substitute with at least three years of relevant experience

**Work Experience**: At least two-year experience in a similar role is required.

**Skills Required**: Strong customer services skills and problem-solving skills; Able to communicate in Mandarin and English verbally and orally; Being able to work independently, efficiently and in work-pressure situation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00
- $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
