Civil Engineering Technician (Clayton)

**Role Overview**: **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in Design and Planning**: Support civil engineers in the development of detailed design drawings and plans for infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
- **Site Surveys and Data Collection**: Conduct site surveys, collect data, and perform tests on construction materials to ensure project specifications are met.
- **Prepare Documentation**: Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, sketches, and specifications.
- **Quality Assurance**: Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- **Collaborate with Stakeholders**: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are achieved.
- **Utilize CAD Software**: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare engineering designs and drawings.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of **2 years** of full-time experience as a Civil Engineering Technician.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
