Tibaldi.com.au Your Story As a Purchasing Manager at Tibaldi you will be part of the Supply Chain team based in Clayton, Victoria reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain. You will be involved in:
- Plans, organises, directs, controls and coordinates the procurement and purchasing of materials, products and services for an organisation
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing strategies, policies and plans
- Preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements
- Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- Operating recording systems to track all movements of supplies and finished goods, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times
- Liaising with other departments and customers concerning requirements for outward goods and associated forwarding transportation
- Overseeing the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions
- Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance
- Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. As part of the Supply Chain team you will:
- Be an adaptable, innovative team player, willing to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills and good sense of judgement on confliction priorities.
- Work collaboratively to partner with key business stakeholders including from Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Assurance, Research and Development, Finance, Maintenance, Sales, Marketing and HR.
- Be ‘hands-on’ with everyone from our entry level roles to the CEO.
