Tool Storeperson (Clayton)

We now have an exciting opportunity for a **Tool Storeperson**to join our Clayton workshop team.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting to our Service Administration Coordinator, you will ensure that all general and specialist tooling is well maintained as per Quality Assurance requirements.

**Daily responsibilities will include the following**:

- Issue tooling and updating of our internal database (we use DBS)
- Maintain and arrange repairs of tooling
- Inspect tool groups/kits as returned, repair or replace components
- Coordinate movement of tooling between branches
- Liaise with our coordinators and Service Manager on new tooling requirements
- Research and provide advice on alternate suppliers and costs for tooling and recoverable / consumable store items
- Maintain stock levels of recoverable and consumable service store items

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes**:

- Experience working within a warehouse (Stores) would be great
- Mechanical knowledge (a love for tools)
- A positive, “can-do” attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Intermediate computer, database and Microsoft Office skills
- Workshop maintenance experience (knowledge of Caterpillar machinery is highly regarded, or a love for our machinery)
