Marvellous Nanny: Long Term Cleveland Permanent Part Time

Pay: $35-$40 per hour + 11.5% superannuation with leave entitlements

Days and Hours:

- Any three days (preferred: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
- 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM
- Long term commitment of 4-5 years

About the Family: A warm and active family in Cleveland is seeking an experienced nanny to support a stay-at-home mum with three young children:

- Boy (3.5 years)
- Loves cooking, mixing concoctions, playing, and outdoor adventures.
- Boy (1.5 years)
- Enjoys the outdoors, animals, tractors, and all things fun.
- Girl (9 weeks)
- A newborn that thrives on sleep and cuddles.

The family has a puppy (Samoyed), a cat (Russian Blue), and friendly chickens, so an animal lover is a plus! They enjoy spending time together on their property and visiting their cows.

What we are looking for: The ideal nanny will be:

- Engaging, fun, and creative, leading age-appropriate learning and messy play.
- Experienced in early childhood education or daycare settings, encouraging focus and concentration through structured activities.
- Happy to join mum on outings to playgroups, gymnastics, or swimming lessons.
- Supportive during nap times, setting up activities, assisting with meal prep, or caring for the baby while mum catches up on tasks.
- Fun, bubbly, and upbeat, someone who truly enjoys engaging at the children’s level.

Tasks
- Proactive in planning educational and outdoor activities, settings up engaging play experiences (Encouraging play-based learning and interactive experiences, messy play, crafts, educational games).
- Preparing meals (breakfast and lunches) for the children.
- Pet care, including feeding and occasional walking.
- Assisting on outings or appointments when needed.
- Comfortable with light household duties, including:

- Preparing grab-and-go activities for mum to use on non-nanny days.
- General tidying after meals and activities.
- Washing dishes.
- Encouraging/helping children to keep their rooms tidy.
- Laundry assistance.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive nannying or childcare experience, particularly with toddlers and infants.
- Experience with multiple young children.
- Strong English skills.
- Full driver’s licence (a vehicle is provided for work-related use).
- Blue Card or Police Check.
- Two professional references.
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
