Home Services Maintenance Manager (Cleveland)

Purpose: To manage the Authentic STEPS Lawn Care business, ensuring quality service delivery while training and mentoring young people in practical skills, customer service, and small business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and deliver high-quality lawn mowing, garden care, and yard maintenance services.
- Train and mentor young people in mowing, edging, gardening, customer service, and basic small machine maintenance.
- Schedule and allocate jobs, ensuring efficient work planning and team coordination.
- Liaise with current customers to maintain satisfaction and manage service bookings.
- Proactively market and build new customer relationships.
- Manage tools, equipment, and vehicle maintenance.
- Foster a positive, safe working setting for young people.

Skills and Attributes:

- Practical experience in lawn and garden maintenance.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Customer service and communication excellence.
- Ability to train and work alongside young people with patience and encouragement.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for maintenance of small engines.
- Organized, reliable, and safety-conscious.
- Current driver’s license (essential).

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Gardening & mowing & handyman: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: On the road
