Surrounded by coastal beauty and close to shopping, healthcare and transport, it offers ease and peace of mind. As a Maintenance Gardener, you will play an important role within the community, ensuring gardens, grounds and outdoor areas are safe, well-maintained and visually appealing. You’ll take care of day‑to‑day gardening and grounds maintenance tasks while engaging positively with residents. This role is ideal for someone with strong gardening experience who is friendly, proactive, and enjoys a varied, hands‑on role. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday 8am-4pm Your Impact
- Maintain gardens, grounds and outdoor areas to a high standard, including mowing, pruning, hedging, mulching and green waste management
- Ensure communal outdoor spaces are clean, tidy and welcoming for residents and visitors at all times
- Carry out routine checks and basic upkeep of irrigation systems and external sprinklers
- Complete scheduled gardening tasks efficiently while responding to day‑to‑day grounds maintenance needs
- Be a friendly and approachable presence for residents while going about daily work
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns in outdoor areas promptly to the Community Manager What you'll bring
- Gardening or grounds experience, with a strong sense of pride and ownership in your work
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach, with the ability to assess issues, troubleshoot and take action
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain maintenance works in a resident‑friendly way
- A positive, approachable attitude and a strong sense of pride in your work
- A valid driver’s licence (essential)
- Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required) What we offer
