**_ The Role_**

At Infinite Aged Care, Housekeeping Assistants play a critical role in providing quality housekeeping and cleaning services which focus on infection control and ensure a safe and healthy living environment for residents.

Working closely with the Facility Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for cleaning of resident rooms and common areas as well as a providing laundry services and generally ensuring that residents daily needs are met.

This role is a physical role whereby you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is key you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents_._

Compassionate, with a customer service mindset, you are a strong communicator and problem solver who ‘thinks on your feet’, builds supportive relationships, and strives for the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and order within the entire facility.

At Infinite Aged Care, we hire on attitude and aptitude, so you DO NOT need experience in the aged care sector, you do however need to be aligned with our philosophy and values, have strong communication skills, be computer literate and a commitment to resident wellbeing as well as the following,
- Demonstrated cleaning experience desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision and ‘think on your feet’.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Hard working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
- Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and supporting colleagues at all times.
