We are a well-established commercial cleaning services company delivering high-quality cleaning solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. As well as cleaning services, our company provides courier services across Melbourne and thus has a Fleet that supports this side of the business. With a growing workforce and expanding client base, we rely on a well-managed fleet and logistics system to ensure our cleaning teams are supported with timely transport, equipment delivery, and operational coordination.

We are now seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to take ownership of our vehicle operations and support the smooth delivery of our cleaning services across multiple sites.

About the Role

The Fleet Manager is responsible for the coordination, scheduling, and maintenance of the company’s vehicle fleet used to support cleaning operations. This role ensures that staff, equipment, and cleaning supplies are transported efficiently between job sites, while maintaining full compliance with safety, maintenance, and operational requirements.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity by managing daily fleet movements, maintenance schedules, and logistics planning across multiple service locations.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and coordinate the daily operation of company vehicles used for cleaning service delivery as well as courier services across multiple sites

· Develop and implement efficient transport schedules to support cleaning teams, equipment movement, and site access requirements

· Oversee vehicle servicing, maintenance schedules, repairs, registrations, and fuel usage to ensure fleet reliability and cost control

· Coordinate logistics for the delivery and collection of cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies to and from client sites

· Liaise with cleaning supervisors, site managers, and clients to confirm scheduling, access requirements, and operational needs

· Allocate vehicles and drivers based on cleaning schedules, workforce availability, and operational priorities

· Monitor fleet usage and ensure accurate recording of vehicle movements, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities

· Prepare operational reports relating to fleet performance, utilisation, and service efficiency for management review

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, including safe transport of cleaning chemicals and equipment

· Support operational planning by ensuring efficient routing and coordination of cleaning teams across multiple locations

· Respond to urgent operational changes, including rescheduling transport to meet client service requirements

· Providing courier and delivery services to customers

About You

· At least a year of relevant work experience in fleet management, transport, or logistics

· Minimum qualification of Diploma in Management, Logistic or a related field

· Maintenance and Safety Compliance

· Vendor and Supplier Management

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
