- Design, develop and validate munitions components and systems
- Interpret customer requirements and provide design solutions, translating system requirements into actionable solutions
- Conduct engineering analyses, apply industry standards, and release designs for production and procurement
- Troubleshoot design and production processes based on theory and appropriate simulation tools of metal forming techniques Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Industry experience in a similar role following Systems Engineering practices for Systems and Sub-Systems: Design, Develop & Qualify the Solution
- Design experience with Inventor is a plus, particularly in design and manufacturing environments
- Some experience with the use of metal forming simulation software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
