About the role JBS are seeking applications for the position of Full Time Mechanical Fitters Day and Afternoon Shift in Cobram. We are seeking skilled and energetic individuals who are committed to providing an effective professional service and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Ensuring the availability, reliability and capability of relevant assets
- Monitor, follow-up and address issues associated with the implementation and process of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
- Continuous improvement of equipment and systems.
- Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances Qualifications
- Have amechanical fittertrade qualification and be experienced in maintenance/repair, ideally in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Have an understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
- Be available for shift work where required
- Have reliable transport and license
- Possess a thorough understanding of maintenance work management practices
- Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination. Advantages
