**About the role**: We are seeking to backfill the Records and Client Data Administrator role; this is a great opportunity to temporarily join Merri-bek’s IT Applications team.
The primary purpose of the Records and Client Data Administrator is to provide professional services and advice to Council officers, client groups and external customers in accordance with agreed standards and procedures to assist moving the organisation to embrace digital records and processes.
The incumbent is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and management of Councils corporate records and client databases, including assisting with reviewing the systems and playing a key role in the development of system functionality.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about data accuracy and delivering a positive customer experience both internally and externally.
**Skills and experience require to perform the role**:
- Experience working and administering a large corporate records database
- Ability to exercise initiative and seek new solutions to problems
- Excellent time management skills including setting priorities with workloads
- Commitment to excellence in customer service with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to gain cooperation and assistance from staff and deliver reliable and responsive customer service
- Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and creativity in the execution of the role
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems with attention to detail particularly regarding data content accuracy
