Pharmacist / Compounding Pharmacist (Coburg)

About the role The role is for a PART-TIME secondary Pharmacist and/or compounding pharmacist position, that is confident to work independently and also part of a team, with professionalism, care and high attention to detail. Working along with a full-time Pharmacist and Compounding/Dispensary Technician. This position requires availability for at least 3.5 days per week. Skills and experience
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Friendly, positive in nature
- Dispense to patients on the Methadone/Suboxone/Subutex program
- Prior experience with Methadone/Suboxone/Subutex programs is preferred but not required
- Confidence to work independently and within a team
- Be able to communicate very effectively with staff and customers alike
- Have a professional presentation and attitude
- Be very reliable and versatile with regards to working hours
- Be motivated to strive for excellence
- Accurately dispense prescriptions
- Maintain awareness of patients in-store at all times
- Actively dispensing, providing service and product information to patients including the provision of relevant and appropriate health information
- Assisting with Dose Administration Aids
- Ensure all dispensary administration duties are performed, including organising and maintaining the cleanliness of the dispensary area
- Compounding experience an advantage but not a requirement.
- Current AHPRA registration is required for this position.
