Diesel Plant Mechanic (Coffs Harbour)

About the role As a Diesel Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for the efficient maintenance and repair of a wide range of quality compact equipment at our Coffs Harbour workshop. This is a full-time role within the Agriculture & Construction machinery industry, based in Coffs Harbour and the North Coast region of NSW. Diagnose, service and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and other components on a variety of compact plant and equipment 2. Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements and general inspections 3. Use diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify faults 4. Document all work completed and maintain accurate records 5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team 6. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a safe and efficient manner What we're looking for 1. Immediate Start 2. Qualified Diesel Plant Mechanic, with a strong background in maintaining and repairing plant & diesel equipment 3. Comprehensive technical knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, transmissions and other heavy plant components 4. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve complex issues 5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work 6. Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and team members 7.
