Administration Assistant Casual, seasonal position during the busy tax season. Role available in H&R; Block's Coffs Harbour office. Great job for people returning to the workforce or looking to earn extra income. H&R; Block is Australia's leading tax services company with over 400 offices across Australia. H&R; Block prepares around seven hundred thousand tax returns for Australian taxpayers annually. We are looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to assist us during our busiest period, tax season, in our Coffs Harbour office. Responsibilities
- Greeting clients when they enter the office
- Answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments, and providing basic information about services and fees
- Setting up clients in the software system and downloading information from the ATO so it is ready for tax specialists to meet with the client to prepare their return
- Collecting payments from clients, issuing receipts, and banking duties as required
- Following up with clients on outstanding documents needed to complete their tax return
- Assisting in keeping the office neat and tidy and maintaining the appearance of the premises to H&R; Block standards Requirements
- Previous work experience in office administration
- Friendly people with solid customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software products quickly
- Flexibility to work a variety of different shift times depending on local office needs
- Police Check clearance
