Qualified Baker – Coffs Harbour, NSW We are looking for an experienced Qualified/Senior Baker to join our growing bakery team on the beautiful Coffs Coast. We operate across three locations in Coffs Harbour, with our main production bakery located literally across the road from the beach. We have busy retail stores, a growing wholesale operation, and a team that genuinely cares about good food, good people, and a healthy way of working. This role would suit someone already local, or a skilled baker looking for a coastal change without stepping away from serious, quality-driven baking. About the role We're after a hands-on baker with solid production experience, especially with naturally leavened breads and baked goods. You'll need to understand dough, fermentation, timing, and the day-to-day realities of production baking. You should understand fermentation, dough handling, timing, and how to adjust production for changing conditions such as temperature, humidity, flour variation, and workflow demands. You'll be working with a supportive team that values quality, consistency, creativity, and calm, capable people. What we're looking for The right person will:
- Have strong experience in bakery production
- Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of bakery production experience
- Be confident working with naturally leavened products
- Demonstrate at least 6 months of experience working with naturally leavened bread products
- Understand fermentation, dough handling, and dough development
- Be able to problem-solve and adapt when conditions change
- Work well as part of a team
- Take pride in producing high-quality baked goods
