Senior Lecturer, Indigenous Knowledge – Senior Role Lead culturally grounded teaching and research; shape curriculum; supervise HDR candidates; build strong community and stakeholder partnerships. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Higher Degree Research candidates to successful completion
- Contribute to a strong, supportive HDR and research training environment
- Design and deliver high-quality, student-centred teaching
- Drive curriculum innovation in Indigenous Knowledge programs
- Contribute to research outputs, publications and funding activity
- Build respectful, collaborative relationships with communities and stakeholders Qualifications and Experience
- A PhD in Indigenous Knowledge or a related discipline
- Proven experience supervising Higher Degree Research candidates
- Evidence of high-quality teaching and curriculum development and leadership
- A strong research track record, including publications and grant success
- The ability to work respectfully and effectively in culturally diverse contexts Benefits and Remuneration

- Location: Lismore, NSW 2480; Gold Coast, QLD 4225 or Coffs Harbour, NSW 2450 also considered; relocation assistance available
- ACAD Level C. Base salary ranges from $139,568
- $160,473 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. Total remuneration package up to $187,753.
