Position Title: Retail Bakery Manager

Duties and Responsibilities: As the Retail Bakery Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Overseeing and coordinating daily operations of the bakery’s retail space, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and presentation.
- Determining the product mix, managing stock levels, and setting retail service standards.
- Developing and executing sales strategies, merchandising standards, and promotional activities.
- Handling POS systems, rostering, and ensuring compliance with cleanliness, food safety, and workplace health & safety standards.
- Managing purchasing, pricing policies, and implementing effective cost-control measures.
- Promoting and marketing the bakery’s products and services, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Preparing and managing the bakery’s budget for retail operations.
- Leading, training, and supervising a team of retail staff.
- Resolving customer feedback and issues to maintain a positive store atmosphere.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with food safety regulations and internal policies.

Base Salary: AUD $75,000
- $85,000 plus super

Job Location: Cressy.

Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 1 year of retail or food outlet management experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- A diploma or higher qualification
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with budgeting, marketing, stock control, and POS systems.
- Knowledge of food handling and workplace health & safety (WHS) standards.

**Job Type**: Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week)
