CopRice has been supplying quality feeds for animals for over 30 years through plants in Leeton, Tongala, Leongatha, Gunnedah, Wangaratta, Cobden and Hamilton (NZ). Working with expert tradespeople at CopRice, you will gain hands on experience and training in an industrial environment. You will work with a trades team who will coach and guide you on the job as well as receive tertiary training in a TAFE environment. We will value candidates that not only have technical capacity and a keen interest in the industry but who also possess drive, dedication and strong work and safety ethic. In addition, key requirements in applying for this role are:
- Commitment to study and completion of Certificate III in Engineering Trades
- Completion of Year 10 or above
- A current Driver’s license
- Evidence of Literacy and Numeracy aptitude
- Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally
- Basic skill in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, small machinery and various static and mobile vehicles, plant and machinery
- Basic computer skills including data entry and knowledge of Microsoft office suite
