Casual Relieving Teacher (Colac)

About the Role A Casual Relief Teacher will enjoy the variety of each day being different; and will provide support across a range of subject areas. You will be welcomed into the College community and guided through established practices and expectations. Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
- To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children;
- To provide students with a rich and engaging educational experience;
- Deliver prepared lessons across Year 7 to 12 classes
- Support student learning and maintain positive classroom environments
- Follow established routines and school procedures
- Collaborate with teaching teams and school leadership
- Contribute to our caring, faith-centered school community Key Selection Criteria
- Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission;
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration;
- Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning;
- Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment;
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable;
