Education Support Traineeship (Colac)

**Sacred Heart Primary School is committed to the adventure and enjoyment of learning.**: Sacred Heart Primary School has a fantastic prospect on offer to undertake a Certificate III in Education Support in 2026. This position is suited to a Year 12 School Leaver / Gap Year Student looking to pursue a career in the Education industry.

**Main duties include but are not limited to**:

- Providing basic emotional and physical care for students
- Developing project based units to implement with small groups of ‘at risk’ students
- Assisting with the supervision of students in playgrounds, at camps, on excursions, in sporting activities and life skills
- Assisting in the preparation of student resources and equipment
- Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of programs and evaluation of individual student involvement and achievement

**Successful applicant will possess the following qualities**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Workplace flexibility
- A friendly and positive nature
- Ability to display initiative, teamwork skills and independence, all of which will be required at various times
