HC Drivers Casual (Colac Otway Shire)

About the role Based at our Colac depot, you will be responsible for delivering Woolworths products from distribution centres to supermarkets across the South West area. At times, you will also be responsible for transporting other freight as required. Position is Casual. Key Duties
- Operate Multi and Heavy combination vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, our customers and the NHVR safety standards.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete all documentation accurately.
- Ensure product integrity and correct temperature control for perishable goods.
- Plan and follow delivery routes efficiently to meet strict delivery schedules and reduce downtime.
- Maintain solid communication with operations, warehouse and store personnel to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Adhere to fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and site safety requirements. Requirements
- Hold a current MC or HC licence.
- Strong work ethic, punctual and reliable.
- Provide professional customer service.
- Be safety focused.
- Have a good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation. Benefits
