Well Established Local City Council looking for a Senior Communications Officer Hybrid working model | until 30 June '26 + view to extend for another 12 weeks | $60 per hour circa | Melbourne inner east suburbs About your Organization You will be part of a well established local city council located in Melbourne south east suburbs within their Customer & Communication Division. About your role
- Working as a member of the Strategic Communication Specialist’s team, the Senior Communications Officer supports the wider Strategic Communications department and the organization.
- Provide communication advice, coordination of communication activities, and preparation of content across allocated internal clients, programs and projects.
- Development of communication plans and activities, in particular producing high quality, fit-for-purpose, customer-centric content.
- This role focuses on communication requirements within city council plans and strategies.
- This position is responsible for working collaboratively with employees at all levels across the Council particularly colleagues within the Strategic Communications team, Customer and Communication department.
